Ffyon Reily

Ffyon is an academic member of Chambers who is authorised to undertake occasional instructions. Before leaving full time practice, Ffyon prosecuted and defended in Criminal and Regulatory matters at all levels, in the courts of England and Wales.

Ffyon is a Senior Visiting Lecturer at City Law School.  Ffyon lectures in Employment, Family, Crime, and Fraud, and delivers coaching in Advocacy. Ffyon is accredited to teach advocacy by the Inns.

 

Ffyon is a major contributor to The English Legal System (Pearson), including chapters on Police Law and Youth Justice. Ffyon has written in Counsel Magazine and the Financial Times Series. Ffyon is working with Professor Anderman on a new edition on his seminal work, Unfair Dismissal.

Ffyon can deliver CPD training. Previous clients include the Crown Prosecution Service.

 

Ffyon is currently instructed on the Covid Inquiry by HMRC as junior council.

 

Ffyon is has a commitment to delivering pro bono work and in the pandemic opened and ran 3 large virtual pro bono clinics and offering individual representation to clients on employments matters through the Free Representation Unit including whistleblowing, TUPE and constructive dismissal matters.
