Andrew is a senior junior with a broad experience in crime, inquests and employment law. Andrew has a particular interest in fraud and financial crime including confiscation. Andrew’s general crime practice revolves around serious violence, sexual offences and drug related crime, including large scale conspiracies to supply.

R-v-Ali and others. Leading counsel for the first defendant in a 12 handed Child sex trafficking case. Rape and other serious sexual offences. The first trafficking case under the new legislation.   

R-v-Mangere and others. International conspiracy to defraud involving hundreds of million pounds of stolen banking instruments. 

R-v-S and others. Multi million pound long firm fraud.

R-v-C. Confiscation of properties.

R-v- Coe. Large scale business cheque fraud.

R-v Mahmood and others. Inter-city conspiracy to supply drugs.

R-v- N. & others. Theft and distribution of tens of thousands of UK travel visas.

R-v-Ali, Conspiracy to defraud, bogus marriages.

R-v-K. S18 GBH. Unprovoked stabbing of bystander.

R-v-Ahmed. S18 GBH. Gang ‘induction’ stabbing.

R-v-M. S18 GBH. A series of 4 random knife attacks on strangers in the course of one evening.

R-v-S and others. Knife point robberies. One victim, a surgeon received career threatening injuries.

R-v-Kilac Bomb hoaxes.

R-v-S. Serious assault by a solicitor on a Claimant in the High Court. Solicitor struck off.

Lakanal House Inquest. 3 month inquest, representing the family of three of the deceased.
