Julie Whitby was called to the Bar in 1997.
Her work encompasses all areas of crime. She has been a junior in cases of murder and manslaughter and has both prosecuted and defended in serious cases of violence and drugs.
She has also dealt with family and Children’s Act cases, civil cases and judicial reviews as well as immigration and asylum appeals.
Julie has lectured on human rights law, advocacy, immigration and employment rights as well as healthcare law and medical negligence.
Her areas of speciality include forensic evidence and road traffic law.
