Jessica Dechaur was called to the Bar in October 2003.
Jessica is a criminal practitioner whose practice is evenly split between Prosecution and Defence work.
She has regularly appeared in the Magistrates Courts and Crown Court for the Defence in matters ranging from traffic violations and public order offences to domestic assault and benefit fraud. She has prosecuted for the CPS, Probation, Reveneue and Customs and the DWP, both in the Magistrates Courts and the Crown Court.
Her Crown Court trials have ranged from theft and actual bodily harm to criminal damage. She also has experience and a particular interest in offences under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
