Ffyon can advice on and representation in civil damages claims including actions against the police, and can undertake representation at first instance and appellate level dealing with all manner of concerns that arise for prisoners including general conditions, visitation rights, re-categorisation, tariff review, recall and of course the conduct of and judicial review of Parole Board hearings, including specific complaints and matters of procedure of general application in the prison system. She can also conduct parole hearings at first instance.

Ffyon can adviseas to the merits of, and provides representation in claims for unlawful imprisonment, assault and personal injury, actions pursuant to the Human Rights Act 1998, and in other areas relating to the deprivation of property, and misfeasance in public office, as well as other matters involving the police, including information provided to Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau certificates, and the retention of personal data.
